Green Canyon is the largest artificial reservoir in Turkey. Its history dates back to antiquity: once there was a bend of the Manavgat River and several mountain lakes used by the Romans to replenish water supplies. However, in the late 80's a dam complex was built and a reservoir was created in this valley, which has now become one of the main natural attractions of the region.

A distinctive feature of this place is the emerald hue of the water, which was the result of high iron content. The slopes of the canyon are covered with dense vegetation, creating a unique landscape where you can find lush orange and olive groves, as well as exotic plants such as pomegranate trees and giant cacti. These natural beauties are the perfect place for walks and photo shoots!

The water temperature in the lake never exceeds +12 °C, making it ideal for a refreshing swim on hot days. In summer, it is always cooler and you can enjoy outdoor activities as well as beautiful views. Depending on the season, you can watch mandarins, almonds and other fruit trees blossom. Eagles' nests can be found on the high cliffs, which will add more uniqueness to your trip.

You will be picked up directly from your hotel to travel by bus convertible equipped with seat belts, which will give you maximum comfort and safety on the way. The first stop is a stunning observation deck located just 500 meters from the sea, at the height of the Taurus Mountains. From here you can enjoy incredible views of the city, Panorama, Green Canyon and Green Lake. It's the perfect spot for snapshots, and our guide will share fascinating information about the region.

Next, we'll head to the mini-zoo, where for an additional fee (€4) you can see exotic animals and even have your photo taken with a snake. The zoo is not only an opportunity to admire the animals, but also to experience the atmosphere of local life.

The next stop will be the Green Canyon Dam, located at an altitude of 1100 meters. This natural monument attracts tourists with its beauty and grandeur, and here you can make unforgettable photos that will remind you of this place.

Next, we will have a spectacular boat ride on Green Canyon Lake, where we will make a stop for a swim in the refreshing waters. This is the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature in this corner of Turkey.

But the adventure doesn't end there! During the next break on board Monster Safari you will be entertained by animation programs and singing, creating an atmosphere of festivity and fun for the whole family.

As we approach the highlight of the day, lunch at ParadiseRestaurant, where you'll be treated to a delicious meal of fish or chicken and salads. Here you can relax and enjoy the local cuisine.
